Gift Certificate

Frog Store Gift Certificates are now directly redeemable online.  We no longer offer the 'mail-in' variety of gift certificates.

Gift Certificates can be used to pay for part of an order, with the remainder being paid by credit card.  Or, if you use only part of a gift certificate to place an order, the remaining value stays registered until you order again. 

The Gift Certificate can be delivered by two methods.

We email it to the recipient. 
Email has the advantage that it is almost instant.  But email also has disadvantages in that emails can be blocked, mistaken for spam, inadvertently erased, or not delivered due to typos.  To reduce email blockage, the email we send will be in PLAIN TEXT and will not have images.

We recommend that if you choose email delivery that you follow up with the recipient to make sure the email was received.  If not, let us know and we will resend the email.

We send it via US mail.
Gift certificates we mail will generally arrive within 4-10 days of the time they are ordered.  We mail from Oregon.  If you choose a mailed certificate, you can preview and select what it will look like.  BE SURE THE ADDRESS YOU PROVIDE ACCEPTS US MAIL.  Many people, especially in rural areas, get their mail at a PO Box.

With the US mail option, you also can also print and deliver your own copy of the Gift Certificate.  When your receipt appears at the end of checkout, there is a link in the receipt.  Click the link to get a printable copy of the Gift Certificate.  If you want to give the Gift Certificate yourself and don't need us to mail it, just mention that in the 'Notes' box during checkout.  If you have a Frog Store user account, you can log in any time, view the order, and print another copy of the Gift Certificate.
